Stokes / Green Bowers Neighborhood

. .

Stokes-Map

A small enclave of homes within the Polo Club neighborhood, Stokes is named after Edward S Stokes who acquired the land in 1945 for future development, and Green Bowers which was named after the adjacent land to the East that was at the time the Green Bowers nursery.

The neighborhood today is comprised of ranch-style homes on large lots, many of which have been recently renovated, and a handful of which have been scraped for new build.  The central location, large lots, and quality build are major attractions for this neighborhood.
