A Tale of Two Condo Developments

It was the best of times and it was the worst of times.  Denver’s new Four Seasons hotel and condo project in downtown Denver celebrated topping out their development with the placement of their 75-foot mast, according to the Denver Post’s recent article.  The project’s completion date for the 230 hotel rooms and 102 condos is early early next year.

At the same time and just down the block, Spire’s lender Corus Bank has filed for bankruptcy protection.  The Spire project estimated at $175 million for 496 condo units is not in jeopardy according to the developer Nichols Partnership Inc. in a recent Denver Business Journal article.  The project should be completed by late next year.
