Alamo Placita is a tucked away gem of a neighborhood encircled by Denver Country Club, West Wash Park, and Capitol Hill.  It’s central location, lush gardens, and historic homes make it a desirable core neighborhood with easy access to downtown, Cherry Creek, and Wash Park.

The Alamo Placita Historic District was created by the Denver Landmark Preservation Commission in 2000, recognizing both the architectural integrity of the area as well as its contributions to the history of Denver.

The home are are mainly bungalow, tudor, duplex, and Denver square style built primarily of brick.  Homes along Corona, Speer, Downing and 6th Avenue sell at a lower price point due to the traffic along those streets.
