Wash Park (East) Neighborhood

Wash-Park-East-Neighborhood

Washington Park Neighborhood, AKA Wash Park and different than West Wash Park, is a highly desirable neighborhood because of its proximity to one of Denver’s most visited outdoor venues and its charming retail area on Old South Gaylord Street Gaylord.

A 2.6 mile jogging path encompasses the park with a concentric paved 2 mile biking, walking, rollerblading path.  The interior of the park provides two beautiful gardens and two lakes, one with its own boat house where visitors may rent paddle boats and Surreys.  It’s easy to see why Wash Park is one of Denver’s most frequented locations and why residents enjoy living nearby.

Old South Gaylord offers visitors a number of great restaurants and eclectic shops, and hosts an outdoor farmers market in the summer.

Homes in Wash Park start in the $300K’s and quickly climb from there to around $1.6 million with a median price around $600K.  They are primarily charming bungalows, Tudors, Denver Squares, and Victorians.  A number of lots have been scraped for new build; the majority of which are in line with the old architecture styles.

Wash Park offers home owners with easy access to downtown, Cherry Creek, and I-25.
